Analytics Snippet Piwik / Matomo (module for Omeka S)

New versions of this module and support for Omeka S version 3.0 and above are available on GitLab, which seems to respect users and privacy better than the previous repository.

Analytics Snippet Piwik / Matomo is a sub-module of Analytics Snippet for Omeka S that allows to track the not only the public and/or admin pages, but json (in particular for the Omeka S Api) and XML.

Note: XML from the module OAI-PMH Repository is not supported yet.

Installation

Install Analytics Snippet first.

Then, uncompress files and rename module folder AnalyticsSnippetPiwik. Then install it like any other Omeka module and follow the config instructions.

It’s always recommended to backup your files and your databases and to check your archives regularly so you can roll back if needed.
