Finding Aids tend to be a important but troublesome area for many institutions. And usually even when converted via XSLT to html are user unfriendly. I am curious about additional functionality via potential plugin or some or way to make short work of importing EAD and MARCXML records in to Omeka.
Hi myotus. In the coming months Omeka will be pushing for greater and greater interoperability with other systems and standards. We are currently working on CSV and OAI-PMH import plugins, but we would like to expand beyond that into other formats, including EAD and MARCXML.
