As the number and complexity of Omeka sites we're running increases, we're starting to become concerned about database load.
As far as I can see, the PageCaching plugin still seems to work all right...but it's only been tested up to v1.2. That makes me very nervous about relying on it, particularly with v2.0 around the corner.
Is there any prospect of an updated caching system? I note that some people are using Varnish, but we're aiming for something that's easily updated by a team of volunteer editors...so I suspect we require a system that's directly integrated into Omeka.
Any thoughts, suggestions or information gratefully received!
