Static Image in Neatline

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to use an image with waypoints instead of a map as the base layer in neatline. I am having trouble figuring out how to upload the image to be the main screen. Thanks.

Hi mbordewyk,

Sorry that I missed your question when you posted it! My notifications apparently aren't working, so I need to fix that!

To use an image as the base layer for your neatline exhibit, you'll need to have it on the web. What I usually recommend people do is add the image as an item to their Omeka archive, then use the URL for the full-size image in the Neatline exhibit settings.

Typically, once your image is set as the base, you'll need to click and drag it over to the center of the Neatline editor window. You can then set the zoom level you want for the image and the viewport by going in to the Style tab on the Neatline editor screen, and clicking the "Use Current Viewport" button, then saving those style settings.

Hope that helps! Please let us know if you have further questions. We're happy to help!
