We would like to be able to add more items to the Collection pages. We'd rather have the list of items appear on the collection description page instead of making them click on yet another link.
If that is too difficult, how about adding a tag cloud to the collection-show page and/or a search box just for items in that collection.

You can play around a little with the pages if you find some functions that you like in one place and move them around to another. (And if you can't remember what you've edited/deleted, you can always grab another copy of that page from the downloaded theme files.)

I just removed the collectors div and moved up the link to the collection items into the heading so that clicking on the collection name takes you to the collection items.
