Additional information on my problem - A few days ago I installed composer, with a view of experimenting with Semantic Mediawiki.
Just now I tried uninstalling and installing Scripto plugin, and for the first time received this error:
exception 'Omeka_Plugin_Installer_Exception' with message 'Invalid MediaWiki API URL' in /home/hartal5/public_html/ioterror.com/plugins/Scripto/ScriptoPlugin.php:264
I hope this helps someone help me!

Ooops! Never mind! The error arose from something I messed up in installing SMW.
