After upgrading the the latest Omeka, we found we had a problem getting image files to load. I did end up getting this problem resolved, but the residual issue is that thumbnails are not being created. When I go into admin - settings, I set the path to imagemagick to where it resides on our server (which is /usr/share) and when I click the test button, I get the error, "The ImageMagick directory path does not work." But that is the directory where our installation resides, so I don't know why it doesn't "work" and I assume this is related to why we aren't getting any thumbnails....
Would appreciate assistance in figuring out what the trouble is. Oh, and yes, the permissions on the files directory, including the thumbnails subdirectory, are 777. Thanks in advance!!!
