One thing I'm trying to do is described exactly by this issue described on Github. Following the suggestion of davidmcclure, I fire up vi and comment out line 80 in Neatline/views/shared/javascripts/src/map/map.controller.js.
I go and restart Apache, head on over to my exhibit, and try it out--no dice, the behaviour is still the same. Any ideas? I don't know Javascript, unfortunately, but I have the mySQL database backed up and can comment out lines and alter little chunks of code with the best of 'em.
