Installation error

Hi there,

I am attempting to install Omeka on a Windows 2003 server. I've had some success so far, as I've reconfigured the mod_rewrite and able to make it so far as the installation configuration. However, where I am stalled now is at the installation screen where I fill in my site information, such as my superuser account and site settings.

Once I fill in all of the pertinent fields, I get this error:

Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in C:\PHP\PEAR\pear\Config\Container.php on line 111 Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Zend_Db_Adapter_Mysqli_Exception' with message 'Access denied for user 'omeka_admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)' in C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\omeka\application\libraries\Zend\Db\Adapter\Mysqli.php:333 Stack trace: #0 C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\omeka\application\libraries\Zend\Db\Adapter\Abstract.php(448): Zend_Db_Adapter_Mysqli->_connect() #1 C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\omeka\application\libraries\Zend\Db\Adapter\Abstract.php(706): Zend_Db_Adapter_Abstract->query('SHOW TABLES LIK...', Array) #2 [internal function]: Zend_Db_Adapter_Abstract->fetchAll('SHOW TABLES LIK...') #3 C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\omeka\application\libraries\Omeka\Db.php(74): call_user_func_array(Array, Array) #4 [internal function]: Omeka_Db->__call('fetchAll', Array) #5 C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\omeka\install\models\Installer.php(318): Omeka_D in C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\omeka\application\libraries\Zend\Db\Adapter\Mysqli.php on line 333

I know Windows isn't a supported Platform for Omeka, but I have had some success with other platforms that have made the same claims, so I'm hoping there might be a solution. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Roger
