Can anyone help me on how to add submenus to the menus? From the admin panel I see no way to do it, so I think I'll have to do it programmatically in the themes folder.
But then I have not the slightest idea from where to start. Is there any tutorial or example I can follow?

Go to Apperance->Navigation and enter your data to the "Add a Link to the Navigation" section.
Than you can drag&drop the new menu item wherever you want. To have is as a submenu just drag it a bit right under the main menu position.
