I need to create space between my header logo and text in the header. The text will link back to the index page of the parent site that the omeka site is connected to.

You can use any of the "margin" CSS properties to make space between elements
Depending on where the image and the text are in relation to each other, you should be able to set a margin on the logo (an img element) to create spacing in that direction.
Would it be possible to get the exact code and where it should be placed?
