Unicode does not seem to be supported in this plugin - I am wanting to add various elements/item types which use unicode characters to the public-facing form. The characters render properly elsewhere on the site but become question marks when using the Contribution plugin. UTF-8 encoding needs to be added but I'm not sure where/how.
Can you confirm which version of the plugin you were using? Does the problem persist on different themes? Is the problem restricted to just one field, or several?
This could be something as simple as a problem with the declared character set of the page the Contribution form appears on, or something more complex.

The problem persists on all themes I checked (Seasons, Thanks Roy, and Berlin) and for all Contribute form fields.
The version of the plugin is 3.0.1 and I'm on Omeka 2.2.2
