Can't Find Site or Items in Google

I know this is a stupid question, but when I search Google for items that I've made public nothing comes up, nor can I find my site on Google. I looked at Google webmaster, but I've had the site for some time--made the items public--but never tried to search, before today, for the site or items on Google. Any advice? Thank you.

You said you looked at Google's webmaster tools; what did they say?

A site without any inlinks from other pages isn't going to get crawled by Google unless you tell them about it manually.

Google has lots of instructions and tips for submitting sites to the index and making sure Google is able to crawl your site.
