Are you talking about the Bulk Metadata Editor plugin from UC Santa Cruz, or the built-in bulk editing you can do from the items browse page using the checkboxes along the side?

I'm not sure that functionality is there, but it might be worth asking on their GitHub page for the plugin. In Omeka's plugin page, the 'Get Support' link for the plugin goes there.
