Hey, I'm in a digital humanities class, working on a oral histories page based on Dayton, Ohio. Currently I've been tasked with finding a way to put a video chat application, like google+hangout, onto the website. The class is using Omeka.net to create the site and I'm wondering if it's possible to add video chat in some way on the website?
If so, how would I go about doing that?
I'm pretty sure that you can only have a hangout when you and you're chatmates are logged into Google+. That means there isn't a way to host the chat another website (Omeka.net or others).
If you record the discussion, you can then post the video to YouTube or Vimeo and then then embed the video into a page in Omeka.net
