I am looking to add the code for a universal viewer or jcarousel in a single exhibit.
I tried embedding the universal viewer and that did not seem to work. I cannot figure out if I can add the shortcode carousel to a single exhibit without changing the code for the rest.

Depending on which page(s) of an exhibit you want to use shortcodes on, it can be a little tricky, though usually possible with some overriding of theme files. As to the more subtle question of whether it would apply to all exhibits, that can probably be handled by some check on which exhibit is being displayed before applying the shortcodes. Again, though, the devil is in the details of where in the exhibit you want to shortcode to be applied.
