   The administrative part of RC4 has been working beautifully.

   However, whenever we go to the public site, images *are not* appearing, although the textual information does appear. Neither do exhibits appear. We get an error:

   We get an error, "404 Not Found."

   ...
   Not Found

   The requested URL /items/browse was not found on this server.

   Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
   ...

   It would appear that the folders are not being assigned properly. We have worked for a couple weeks trying to diagnose this problem by looking at our file structure, but could not diagnose:

   It appears you haven't uploaded an .htaccess file to the the root of your application since I'm unable to access any of the dynamically generated pages on the public-side. Try it out and get back to me.

   Thank you for your help, Dave. Somehow the .htaccess file did not get uploaded on install. Your comments helped us find this problem.
