    Getting the error...

    Expecting either "Speex " or "vorbis" identifier strings, found neither

    ... every time I attempt to add an Ogg Theora video file.

    I've whitelisted ogg and ogv, as well as video/ogg and video/ogv.

    I've disabled upload validation.

    Any idea what's going on here?

    Looks like getID3, the library Omeka uses to parse media files, does not currently support Ogg Theora video. We'll see if there's a way around this, and keep an eye out for when getID3 does support Theora video.

    Just to update, this issue is resolved in the upcoming Omeka 1.4 release.
