So, tried to use this software yesterday. Ran into several problems, of those I was able to fix one so that I could get a lovely 404 on the admin page instead of errors. Fun.
Deleted everything, dropped the tables on the database, FTPd a fresh set of files back again, put my DB.ini file in place and ran the install. Success! Omeka is installed. You may remove the "install" directory for security reasons. Check out your site, or visit your admin panel
So I go to the admin page and see this:
