   Can you add slugs to an individual item or a collection, just as you can to exhibits?

   Hi Adrienne,

   You can't do this "out of the box" with Omeka, mostly because the item number in Omeka provides a permanent URL that is used when citing documents (not usually a problem, but it could be a hassle). If you were to edit the title of an item, it's likely that the slug would change as well.

   With that said, thisfeature is possible with a plugin, and I've heard this idea before.
