    Hello,

    I was wondering if it's possible to hardcode timeline event data by means of an array so that there would be no need to call get_items().

    If that's possible, could you provide an example on how I would do that?

    Hi Max,

    Totally possible by just putting whatever SIMILE needs for its timeline on an Omeka theme file.

    If you install the Timeline plugin, then start at Step 2 on SIMILE's "Getting Started" page, that should work fine.

    If you wanted a timeline of events on your theme's home page, add that code to your theme's index.php file.
