Forums: Error message when trying to view item

    I was able to install Omeka and upload a test item, but when I try to see it from the public side with Firefox I get the following error message:

    Not Found

    The requested URL /items/show/1 was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    I also get an error message in IE. My website is ourutahstories.org.

    I recopied the .htaccess files and now it seems to work. Crisis averted.
