Hi is there any chance to create plugin that will preview pdf's in adobe acrobat reader plugin? I'm asking because googledoc plugin can't search trough pdf file, and i think that this option is wery important.

It should be possible to create a plugin that would display PDFs in such a way that the Acrobat plugin would be used.
From our perspective, we like Google Docs better because it works across platforms, Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile. Many or most users of those non-Windows platforms won't have Acrobat Reader, or its plugin.
Also, I do seem to remember the Google Docs Viewer having the ability to search within a PDF.

Yes, I get the point. I must agree that system independent plugin that is running on some big server is much more better solution, but for digital library with concept that i have in mind and that i'm developing for my institution (Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, Serbia) it is crucial that documents that are available online for students and researchers to read can be searchable because, if you are reading some scientific journal and you know that there is some topic that you are interested in, you dont't have to go trough all pages, you just type term and you have page and position where it is. Problem with google doc is that when you embed viewer in your page search box doesn't exist it is functional only when you are using they site with full api, and one more important thing, it is true that all pages that we currently have in our repository are under ccl and public, we don't want them to be available for downloading, only for reading online, and with google doc that is firstly seen in file tab.

after that you may go to tab "digitalna biblioteka" and there pick some category till you come to book you wanna read. This is all done in joomla framework. I would be glad to hear what you think about it.

Your site seems to use a pretty simple
embedtag to load the user's PDF reader plugin.It would be pretty easy to write an Omeka plugin that outputs an
embedorobjecttag that would cause a browser plugin to be used for reading PDFs.
