Uploading JPEG error

Hi there,

When I try to add a file image to my item (JPEG, 25KB, 240x320) I get a 500 Internal Server Error. Am I doing something wrong or is this just something that will be working later today?

Thanks!

Can you look for server logs (Apache, PHP?) A 500 error is a server-side error of some kind, there's usually a log entry generated that explains what went wrong.

Could you also specify what version of Omeka you're working with?

I am having the same issue. We just upgraded to 2.0.1 and when I try to upload a file of any type, through Dropbox or straight upload, anywhere in the site, I get an error message telling me to enable errors.

When I enable error messages it breaks the site and I get the following error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, library.web@eku.edu and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Hello, I'm having the same problem (see my post: http://omeka.org/forums/topic/uploading-jpeg-error)
Using version 2.0, but it was also happening in version 1.2. We're using Dreamhost server and the problem started shortly after they did a backup of the site in January, but it could just be a coincidence (?).

Sorry, this is the correct link my other post: http://omeka.org/forums/topic/cant-view-uploaded-files
