Upgrade Problem with HTML

I am having problems with the most recent upgrade. Whenever I go and edit an entry, any field that uses HTML is made into a single paragraph without any HTML features such as italics. Ant attempts to try a reformat that field is unsuccessful.

Any ideas?

Do you have the HTML Purifier plugin installed? That might be removing your formatting.
