Are there steps on how to successfully upgrade from 2.1.3 to 2.2.2? I've downloaded 2.2.2 to my server, have extracted the files and have copied my old files into the new version. However, my website is not recognizing the new version. Are there any materials on how to successfully complete this task? thank you.
Did you follow the upgrade instructions? The process for upgrading to 2.2.2 is the same as for any other version.
What do you mean when you say the new version isn't being "recognized"?

Since my issue relates with upgrade from 2.1.3 to 2.2.2 , I'm using this topic.
I've followed all of the instructions given here

and none of my old files (Documents...pictures) aren't visible in the new version.
I don't know what I'm missing.

I don't think your problem relates to this thread.
2.1.3 and 2.2.2 don't do anything differently regarding the files folder or the subfolders or files within it.
I'd just double-check to make sure that the folder is in the right place and has the right contents you're expecting, and that it has the right permissions so the web server can read and write to it. This sounds more like some simple problem that may have happened when you were moving or copying things around during the upgrade process than anything about those two versions of Omeka specifically.
