Is there any reason that Omeka could not be used as a catalog for a small library of print material?
Can't think of a reason not to. You could try adding the Docs Viewer plugin to help folks zoom in on those print materials.

Is there any way to use Omeka for circulation of materials? It doesn't seem that this would be a strength of the software after browsing the features, but I'm curious to know if there is a workable solution for this.
