I've been trying to find a way to load a large amount of data into the timeline. We're talking about 4000 items or so and right now it takes forever.
I had the same issue getting all these items on a geolocation map but fixed that by initially only loading the coördinates of an item. Leaving the other metadata of the item to be loaded when you click on it's marker (which then triggers an ajax call).
So my question if something like this is possible for the NeatlineTime plugin as well?
