We are adding links in the related item field, but are having trouble getting the correct path. it seems that even when we enter the whole url the editor changes the link to a relative path that is incorrect. Can someone please tell me the way to link to other items in the related item field? thanks.

I'm guessing that you are trying to link to other items in the database, and that you have the 'Use HTML' box checked?
If so, you can simply enter text into the textarea, and click the link button in the WYSIWYG editor. Then just enter the ID # of the item (the # that appears after items/show/ when viewing the item) into the link field. This should correctly build a relative path to the item.
