Is there any known way to install Omeka with a php build that does NOT have Exif support enabled? I'm working with an existing server like this, and before I go tinkering with someone else's php configuration I figure it would be worth checking.

Omeka can already be installed on a server without the Exif extension installed. The installer will display a warning telling you that Omeka will be unable to extract metadata from uploaded images, but you should be able to proceed with the installation and use Omeka regardless if you wish.
