Data management through the internet

I am a historian by formation with some knowledge of computing and information systems and therefore I already installed Omeka in my computer. I have to install Omeka in an archive where researchers working in different libraries will have to enter data simultaneously. Can anyone point to some instructions on how to use Omeka as a database through the internet.
Thanks in advance
Yannis

I'm not sure that I understand what you are asking. Can you be more specific?

Omeka runs on a database and is accessible through a web interface so that people working from different locations may access the system wherever they are working.

You can create different usernames for those entering data and they can enter it simultaneously. http://omeka.org/codex/Managing_Users

Thank you for your reply,
We managed to set up a server here. The only problem that remains is how to export to the new server the data that we inserted on myomeca.net for showing Omeka to the archive responsibles.
