I am using Omeka.net but I don't like the way the item pages are formatted when you have PDF files. I was wondering if there is a customize the placement of the metadata and files? I know you can do this with the exhibit builder module, but I don't see the same capability with collections.
Also, I would like to make items searchable by subject, which I know you can do with Omeka.org. Is it possible to do this with Omeka.net?
In Omeka.net, there isn't a way to customize the layout or display of individual item pages.
All metadata fields are searchable in both versions. The advanced search available with .Net, and other Omeka sites, lets users and administrators narrow a search by the subject, or any metadata field.
