Description
The BarCode plugin allows admins and plugin developers to create and display scannable bar codes for items on an Omeka site. By downloading and printing these bar codes, using them in brochures and environmental graphics, mobile phone users with cameras can hyperlink to online information about the items. The Barcode Plugin uses the Chart API to create QR Codes for item URLs.
Instructions
- Install and activate the plugin.
- In the Admin panel, goto Settings -> Plugins to activate BarCode
- Click the Configure link for the BarCode plugin
- Enter the default width of your barcode, and click Save Changes button
