After downloading a new design theme to your directory, use this panel to switch themes.
Installing a Theme
Manage your themes from the Settings tab in the right corner of your dashboard, /admin/settings. To add and activate a new public theme for your Omeka installation, do the following steps:
- Download and unzip the theme.
- Add the theme's folder to the "themes" directory of your Omeka installation.
- Log in to the admin panel, navigation to Settings > Themes, select the new theme, and save your changes.
Configurable Themes in Omeka 1.2 and Above
In versions 1.2 and above, some themes are configurable in Settings > Themes admin screen. This functionality allowing users to change the color palette and/or add a logo without needing to edit files on the server.
Rhythm
- After choosing Rhythm, click Configure.
- Choose from 3 style sheets that change the color palette of this theme.
- Save Changes.
Seasons
- After choosing Seasons, click Configure.
- Choose from 4 style sheet that change the color palette of this theme.
- If desired, upload a logo file. Logo will appear in left corner of the site's header.
- Save Changes.
